How about blaming the kids who actually tortured the kid and the Admin who didnt do anything about it . How many times is this gonna happen before they really do something

I haven't seen anything in the news that proves this kid was really being bullied. I'm not saying he wasn't, I'm saying I haven't seen anything other than one quote, from one kid, who said he thought he was being bullied. I did read, that one of the kids that were murdered had just started dating the shooters ex-girlfriend. What is documented, are the multiple accounts of spousal abuse perpetrated by his father and his parent's recent divorce, which point to a pretty terrible home life.

Regardless of that though, kwhln215, I agree with you. When bullies are caught, there need to be stricter punishments to protect the children. And on top of that, teachers need to be better trained to identify when a child may be being bullied. I think all too often teachers just attribute acts of bullying to kids being kids, without stepping in the shoes of the bullied to understand what they may be feeling inside.

How about holding the kid,his parents,the school. any kid that bullied him and that kids parents responsible - There aren't easy answers I wish that people would accept there probably isn't ONE factor its not that simple. unfortunately.

Oh, I think the "so called experts" are aware of other root causes. I don't think heavy metal music is universally perceived in the negative light that you keep representing it in. The thought that its this evil dark thing that is totally misunderstood is kinda passe.

the last "blame the metal band" incident i can really think of is manson and columbine, and that didn't even really stick.

edit: there was the whole finnish black metal thing with the burning churches, but in all honesty some of those bands were promoting church burning. you can't really get too upset about them being blamed as part of it.

we watched a documentary on them. the lead singer was in jail while being interviewed. you're right; he didn't seem very bright. the documentary was a bore, too. i had hoped for it to be a little more riveting.

I would like to ask Rush what his opinion is on allowing health insurance companies to pay for Viagra, because they all do. Better yet, I'd like him to tell me what we should do about insurance companies that cover any prescriptions that the patient ends up abusing. He'd know all about that.

And the biggest mouths usually get caught with their pants down in some fashion eventually...they're so brainwashed, they don't want to enjoy it...its DIRTY! So they do it anyway, in various forms, and hide it, and then tell you not to do it. Its really some kind of psychological damage, if you ask me.

Why would you listen to metal but not black metal? Almost all metal is novelty anyway, at least on some level. I mean, if you're going to get ridiculous, you might as well really get ridiculous. If the band's logo is spelled out in bones and barely legible, it's usually a good sign.
