Awesome article, Kat! All that food talk makes me miss Cali in a big way. I still need to try this salsa but I want authentic tortilla chips to go with it!

lilroja..You can buy homemade tortillas fresh off the press as well as authentic white or blue tortilla chips at Tortilleria San Roman in the "Italian" Market. They always have white; blue might just be week-ends. I usually go on Sundays because I can get fresh made tamales across the street at Lupita's grocery store next to Fantes.

Both are walking distance to me these days and now I'll be doing just that. Thanks!
