I Hate Comcast! - Need Advice

If you are going to use your internet to watch TV, you probably want a pretty fast connection, right? I was going to suggest Clear (we used it before FiOS), but it wasn't fast enough to watch TV. Can you just look at FiOS for your internet? We love it.

here in fishtown you actually have the option of FiOS. thats more than most people can say. pretty much all other options aren't really options.

FiOS. No sharing airspace, DSL has drop-outs like crazy, Satellite costs too much and with fiber optic, the pornhounds and bittorrent fiends on your block won't drain your TTL and burst speed. You can get internet-only FiOS without the TV or phone.

I have been happy with Fios . My first year is up so i have to make a call so it doesnt go up . But if they work with me ill stay with them . I have all 3 (HBO) and pay $159

Dude, when I called to see what was up when my first year was up with FiOS they told me my promotional price lasted for 2 years. I didn't remember that, but I'll take it. You might be lucky as well.

i've been using earthlink dsl for years now. love it. used it to watch netflix on the tv; never any problem.
altho' netflix streaming sux. need a phone line for the earthlink, but don't need an active phone number.
costs about $40. a month, i don't remember exactly. just another option for you.

Fios is great.

Fios here as well. After two years when the promotional rate is up, threaten to cancel to go back to Comcrap. Chances are at worst they'll let you keep the promotional rate.

No no no, its not that easy. Who are you? Why have you been lurking? Do you clean up your dog poop? What are you thoughts on no TVs at Johnny Brendas? Have you been to an FNA meeting yet?

Definitely call them. We have internet, phone, HD tv (one tv) with all premium/DVR and we pay 118. We are beyond the 2nd year already on this package.

wait, we're almost done. how do you feel about dart leagues and cats?

dart leagues are cool. prefer english myself, but i haven't played in years and i wasn't any good then either. as for cat's, they're a little more tender than dogs, but not as tasty.

I hope so . I wouldnt want to change to comcast i promised myself i wouldnt even go back to them

I'll stick with my internet and basic cable from Comcast. At $45/Mo, it just makes sense.

WOW. All these FIOS lovers. I love my Fios internet but the tv service is meh and I've had nothing but problems with my boxes. I'm thinking of going back to Comcast.
