I am sick of reading the Stein MT thread, so lets argue about when and where for a while.
My vote is the Interstate Patio on one of the weeknights where they have select $3 drafts.

So I just looked at their site, and they don't mention $1 oysters under Specials. Just $5 fried oysters. Have you ACTUALLY seen these $1 oysters, or is this just something you made up?

i personally have not ordered them. i am pretty sure they said $1 oysters when they were running down the happy hour for me. they do have oysters, and they are cheaper than the $2 or whatever they are full price.

Before this gets too derailed into a thread about shellfish, are we putting the kibosh on next Tuesday due to the FNA meeting?

How long do these zoning meetings usually take? Should we just push the time back to 8 or 8:30?

Interstate.

I'll ride by EGG on my way back from the doctors and if people are there I'll stop by until 7. Then I'm going to Sketch for dinner, already promised my stomach.

I used to work at the Sansom Street Oyster House and we had oysters all year. One thing you might want to keep in mind is where the oysters come from. The owner would not buy oysters that came from any further south than Virginia. The warmer the water the greater chance of a problem

My daughter made me eat one, once. I really like veal.

Once, the old Polish guy who lived down the street, named Poppy, came to our door and asked if he could borrow an onion. When I told him we didn't have one, he didn't believe me. He always looked at me funny after that. I knew what I was missing, because my maternal grandmom lived down the next block, and everytime I went there she was cooking with onions. My dad just wouldn't have any of it. "They stink", he would say. Dig this, he's 82 years old, will be 83 in July, and has NEVER eaten pizza. Ever. Or a cheese steak. Really, I kid you not.

Recap:
Jordan: April 1st is a Sunday. And if you ever wear that hat again, i'll be forced to kick the tacos out of you.
JBette: Isn't the 3rd some big time zoning meeting for the IceHouse and LocoPez' Outdoor seating? (irony?)
Other than that, I'm completely down.

I will answer the middle part since I am still in zoning mode. Yes, Loco Pez meeting at 7:30. We are screening Ice House that night, so the community meeting will be at a later date.
Perhaps bring happy hour to the Loco Pez meeting (oh, I totally didn't just suggest that as a member of the zoning committee).

Is that really the closest place to you that has both HH and outdoor seating?

o'r's, but i don't think they'd let me bring the dog. i never asked, though. shelley didn't seem to think it was a likely possibility.
if loco pez gets outdoor seating that'll be closer.

I'd find that very odd if you
I'd find that very odd if you weren't allowed to bring your dog to the patio outside there. Actually, maybe I wouldn't.

Yeah I was thinking about that too. I don't think I've been there for a month. But the last time I was there i kind of swore off having draft beer there again since it was so bad.

I think I may pass on tonight
I think I may pass on tonight either way, but maybe next week. I need to ask her what her schedule is now that Shelly is gone.
