good article, good painter. I have a little reproduction of his philly pretzel here at my desk at work. i miss being able to have one for lunch.
if NK stops in, a question: have you considered making a clear refrigerated display box so you didnt have to rush to finish your painting? or does it really not matter all that much?

Thanks everyone. Im really grateful for the outpouring of well wishes and congrats. It's overwhelming to say the least. Im happy to say , in the vaguest of terms, that this has been super good for me, beyond selling work. It's opening a lot of doors for me, potentially. Looks like Im gonna have to put some time into restoring my karma account soon since Ive clearly just been able to cash in on a boat load of it. Thanks again.
In all seriousness, congrats. Painting is HARD. I was always pretty decent when it comes to drawing, but I really hit a wall when it came to getting any command of color with paint. Your colors are really good. I could never do that. Well deserved.
Still swamped with getting stuff shipped out. Even today sales kept coming and now people are paying ahead for dibs on new paintings!
I gots' to get me some more cheese!
and to think... I put my money into your soft pretzel work! :)

I only get to read 10 stories a month on nytimes.com with their new policy. I'd say that was worth one.
