Kenny - let me know if you need anything.
Anthony's Cafe is a great spot, and believe it or not, they make an unbelievable cheesesteak. When I lived on E Girard Avenue, it's where I used to hang out. I'd advertise the food a little more. People were always surprised at how good it is.
Glad you're keeping it in the neighborhood.

The food at Anthony's has been the best secret that no one knows about for a long time. Believe it or not.
You'd eat there and be like "Why isn't there a huge line for this stuff?"

I've lived about 100 feet
I've lived about 100 feet from Anthony's for about 8 years but believe it or not, have never been there. It had been a hangout for the Moe's crown both before and after Moe's. The front was always littered with cigarette butts and often times the street was littered with drunk people.
Already with the new owner, the front is kept very clean and for that I am thankful. My neighbor has also given the new owner very high marks, and I have heard many of the same raves for their cheesesteaks. Count me in for a HH here!

Kenny, can you have the music
Kenny, can you have the music, specifically the bass, turned down on the weekends when someone is DJ-ing (I assume). I live a block away on Marlborough and can hear it perfect in my house. I know its not all the time, so I don't complain, but if you can help us out it would be great. My one year old daughter frequently was woken up by it once we opened her windows in the warm weather.
PS: please dont jack your prices, I love getting my drink on over there and not waking up the next day and wondering if I was a pickpocket victim.

Hello Kenneth,
Hello Kenneth,
It's King here, you can call me King... or Seanie :) You know, famous patron of your previous watering hole / now just a recluse with a rational fear of the sun. I just wanted to let you know I will come check out Anthony's again now that you'll be the one pouring my cherry bombs. We shall see, bud... We shall see.
Good luck on your new endeavor - we shall meet again.. Maybe I'll stop by with Kyle, AJ and daddy to be (succccckkkeeerrr!!!! :) )Timmy.
With love,
