24 Hour cheesesteak?

Forums:

Is there anywhere to get a good cheesesteak 24 hours around here? It used to be Grilladelphia. I miss them so much. Their pocket-bread cheesesteaks were amazing.

And no Lucky's (aka 1 pound cheesesteaks) at Kensington and Lehigh doesn't count. They are beyond nasty, and the customers are just as nasty as the food!

Any suggestions are appreciated.

If you're that desperate I would throw out there Wawa. Not a real cheesesteak but I never had a grilladelphia so I don't know what your standards are

I don't go to the place at K&L, but I know many people who do.
Some of them don't live their life in the best way. Some do.
Regardless, I ask that they not be put down the way that they have been.
(Yeah, maybe I'm getting too sensitive about put-downs, but I don't think so.)

Grilladelphia was great. I don't have a problem with the clientele at Lucky's but I do think their steaks have gone downhill recently. Big steak for the money but not very tasty.

Gotta go to Pat's or Geno's.

It's not 24/7, but the cheesesteaks at Key Pizza and Slack's Hoagie Shack are good.

Jims Steaks is open til 4am at 4th/South. I wouldn't ever go to Geno's and its a better tourist steak than Pats.

Whats wrong with Luckys? You can eat and get a hooker when your done. They might even have a special for that one, its on the secret menu, you have to ask.

yeah, the original post left me wondering at what time would you possibly need a cheesesteak beyond this. additionally, Aramingo diner and other 24 hour places would have something passable i guess in the 4am-10am hours.

EVERY time I see this post I read it as "24 hour cheeseCAKE" and I get all excited. Sigh.

hahahaha they DO have a vehicle that delivers catering. i don't think they deliver a slice of cheesecake at 4am though

I think the Crown was open for a very short period of time, but I could be wrong about that.
