Amazing Pizza Sale!

Friday, June 1, 2012 - 5:00pm to 9:00pm

Some of you may remember the great event of two summers ago, "Pizza Fights Malaria" which brought together dozens of locally made pizzas for taste testing. The overwhelming favorite choice of that event, chosen as their favorite by more than 80% of those attending, was homemade pizza from Sue Arnold.

Now is your opportunity to buy Sue's amazing pizza and enjoy it for supper, TV viewing, a party with your friends, or however else you want. Plus, you can support the historic Summerfield building (used not only by Summerfield but also by a variety of community groups and individuals) to keep the chimney from imploding!

ONLY 100 Pizzas will be sold.
Pre-order yours now!

Sue Arnold's pizza is the very best. The crust and delicious sauce were amazing. See you on June 1st. My pleasure to support this event.

I can't access the form from the office. Are you close to the 100 yet? What are pickup times? I'd really like to participate but need more info.

dan

Sorry you can't access the form from youroffice.
While sales are off and running, we're not near the 100 yet.
Pickup times are during the event time (5:00 - 9:00 pm).

Also, to be clear, people can "eat in" during that time and we will have soda available to purchase.

Thanks, Soul Man! I'll be getting on there tonight.

I had all intentions of sending the kids over to pick up pies . I am guessing the answer was No to both questions.

that was sort of a fun order form... now I am hungry

fishtownfilly's picture

Trish, I believe you may walk in and order.

Are these being sold fully cooked, ie, hot, or Part-baked?

fishtownfilly's picture

As far as I know they are ready to eat.

I forgot to leave a pick up time on my order, but I called the number above and got a vm, so I left a message ... I hope that's ok.

We are mostly selling them fully cooked.
However, you can request to have them uncooked.
(We're not doing part-baked.)

Yes, I was in the balcony and my back-up person failed to pick up the phone.
Sorry!

The pie is AWESOME! Thank you!

Dan, can this be done again? How great is it that mom doesn't have to cook on a Friday night?

Next time, I'm in for 2 pies.

fishtownfilly's picture

Just Fab!!!! Thank You!

dan

There is still pizza available!
Please come on in!

It's awesome! If you haven't had dinner yet, you need to stop by and pick up a pie! Or, if you have, get one anyway!

Pure_Fishtown's picture

Thanks, Dan, for putting this together. It was so nice to see some of old neighbors while we were waiting. Makes me miss living over there even more.

Catphilly's picture

The pizza was truly awesome! Thx so much :)))

Was it a success?

lighterthief's picture

Pizza was delicious indeed.

dan

Glad everybody liked the pizza!

I was a little concerned because somehow in moving to mass-production we lost the crispness of the crust that I prefer in a thin-crust pizza. However, it was still pretty amazing. (Sue is to pizza sauce what Kat is to salsa. I wish I could start a business selling those two things.)

It was definitely a success. If we all ever recover, we might try it again someday.
