Yeah, the Acropolis is very typical Greek diner fare. Gus is a great guy, its very children friendly, (they'll give you two plates to split the creamed chipped beef between two little guys.) Breakfast served all day long. I'm not that fond of breakfast, but he's got a slammin burger, and good soup. You can't beat the price, when you don't want fancy and just want something for everybody.
I would eat my own eyeball before I would eat scrapple.
Pure fishtown, I was going to say if anyone wants to know where the best scrapple in Maryland is, look no further than my mothers house! Yum, yum! A little king syrup, I could eat that every day.. But I wont.
I just can't eat restaurant scrapple, it tastes nasty.
true, I believe it's best cut thin, with a higher golden crisp outside to inside ratio. Diners seem to cut it thick and barely cook it so it's like mush.

Mom always said put the scrapple in a cold pan, it will get crispier than a warm/hot pan. Always worked for me.

Here I sit broken hearted, paid a quarter and only farted.
