Does anyone know when the chili cook-off is this year? Or any other details about the chili-off (like if there is even going to be a chili event happening this year)?
My other half made some delicious chili two days ago!! My mom gave us her slow cooker.. It was so good I want to eat it all so he can make another batch!
There's also going to be a chili cook off at Barry's Homebrew on American & Jefferson on the 12th

I'm making chili for that one. Making it tomorrow. Always better when it's been frozen for a few days.
we are going to enter, too. good idea to make it this weekend. i'm sure they'll have some good beer on the taps. the new store is nice, and the guys are both really friendly. it's been really great having them in the neighborhood. it's so much better than driving to south philly.
