There is a fire at Crease St. and Girad Ave. I asked one of the firefighters and he said the damage was on the first and second floors.

The fire was in the building that houses the Fishtown Richmond Realty company.

The building was just on fire again for the second time tonight. Someone on the Philadelphiaspeaks forum said people from a local bar ran up and a neighborhood junkie bragged about lighting it on fire because someone in the building owes him money.

Jesus Christ.

I've heard nothing but bad things from people who rent from there.
Notorious reputation as horrible landlords.
(No excuse to burn it down, mind you)

I was trying to figure out how to the same thing diplomatically, but now I don't have to.

I used to be a tenant of those jerks. I actually used to live on the 3rd floor above the Realty Office, not too long ago. Crazy!! I'm glad no one was hurt but that office got what they had coming to them. They are the worst people ever.

Ok this is from that other place. Arsonist has a name:

"The idiot's name is Michael Budnik(Mike Budnik). He is still in jail. The judge set a $150,000 bail, but I don't see him coming up with 10% anytime soon. He's charged with Arson-danger of bodily injury, Causing Catastrophe, recklessly endangering another person, and criminal mischief. He was arraigned this morning and no charges were dropped."
