Interesting, but when you drink Coke, it is passing through, not staying in your mouth, or stomach, etc.. not that I am defending this chemical beverage.
very true , was thinking that some people drink these things multiple times a day , and the effect over many years may not be all that good on the teeth . I personally only drink water and BEER !

To be ones self and unafraid, right or wrong, is more admirable than the easy cowardice of surrender to conformaty. Irving Wallace.
Yeah, Coke is pretty much the most acidic out of all the major soda brands, but it's still a relatively weak acid solution. If you expose any material that's not specifically acid-resistant to such a solution for an extended period of time, it's gonna corrode. For decades, a slightly-acidic chemical used as a weed killer was packaged primarily in metal cans, now, whenever I deal with disposing of them at work, those cans can disintegrate just from being handled.
Silly. I don't drink much soda but if you put an egg in anything for 365 days somthing is gonna happen. Leave it outside for a year and see what happens. It doesn't mean I'm not going to go outside.

would you stay out there for a year ? that would not be very good for your skin would it ! compare apples to apples if your going to trivialize something !

I think in a trivial way they where basically saying over a period of time the consumption would be damaging to your teeth and intestines ! not that any one would be soaking there teeth in soda for 365 days straight even if they where false teeth they would be hard pressed to go without them for a full year ...

if you assume it takes one about a half a second to gulp an oz of coke and an average life span of 78 years, the to get a total exposure of 365 days of coke on your teeth you would have to drink 186 cans of coke a day for your entire life.

I still don't drink soda. Now if you posted this about coffee, then I'd be mortified.

Just as long as that water has been purified with hops and barley.

Phosphoric acid has been shown to block or slow the absorption of calcium by binding to it. So that can be a problem for women an even men.
