@Kat: I agree, but I Ieft the description vague to avoid responses from those who are not the rightful family of the dog. I have learned of situations where dishonest people will search these types of ads or respond to flyers in order to obtain a dog that doesn't really belong to them. If the dog's aesthetics or breed are desirable, they may claim to be the owner. Thank you for the suggestion.
