Meet Your Neighbor: The Paper Mill and Karyn Vetter

Congrats to everyone who has made the Paper Mill a community. It is a pretty amazing story where Karyn Vetter has provided this atmosphere for artists in Kensington.

On a side note, this is another example how an old abandonded building can be restored to something great and of great vaule to the community. Perhaps Norris Square should take notes in regards to the building they want to demolish for WCRP and do something great with it. Karyn found the building for sale on Craigs List. Of course, the building that NSCA wants to give to WCRP has never been put for sale.

It is really sad when a civic starts acting like a cdc that is completely govt. funded and becomes so short sited that these buildings are nothing more than an obstacle, Love seeing Kensington mills being repurposed ! Thanks for that lil clip ....

To be ones self and unafraid, right or wrong, is more admirable than the easy cowardice of surrender to conformaty. Irving Wallace.

You are welcome! Was great meeting you the other day. Just seeing many old run-down buildings turn into something beautiful (like the Paper Mill and the studios at 2424 York. I scratch my head in regards towhat the heck NSCA is thinking especially when there is such HUGE demand for artists and commerical studios that would be ideal for that Front St location.
