I smell a new place to conveniently catch Flyers games when I come off the EL late at work. If they went this far then I guess it's eventually getting there.
We have just been giving permission yesterday from LCB to open a second location at 1624 N. Front Street in the Fishtown/ Old Kensington area of Philadelphia. The new 2 floor 2,000sf bar/restaurant will be open by August 2012. This bar will feature 30 tap draft beer SYSTEMS with 20 rotating taps. Watch all the sporting events on twelve 50"HDTV's on both floors and an outstanding Pub grub menu! We will start construction by March/May. We will be in need of local electricians, plumbers, laborers, and maybe an interior designer.

sounds good. I hate to ask dumb questions but how does this tap system work? Is it like regular taps?
Thrilled to be able to watch games, with sound on, not just one game and good beer, here in the neighborhood! It'll certainly keep many of my gameday beer dollars in Fishtown, that's for sure.
I do think the extended neighborhood does have a need for a proper sports bar. this should fill that niche quite well.

According to their earlier post here (http://fishtown.us/comment/120#comment-120) they were planning on opening by end of year but clearly that didn't happen.
