No, you've lived here long enough to know the story. Someone wants something, someone else doesn't want it for the cliche reasons, epithets and anger were expresses, bottom line will be it will likely happen and none of the bad things will result of the change.

I saw it the other way (guess because I'm part of the cliche reasons, epithets and anger). Yes, there was one jerk who said something he shouldn't have and it was wrong. BUT ... I heard reasonable questions and even helpful suggestions.

If you want to divide it up there were bruises on both sides of the aisle.
