But back to the OP: I like Nature's Gate shampoos. They are in most health food stores and are cheap. They are probably not particularly natural but are mild and come in a wide range of flavors/fragrances. Henna is good if you have limp hair like me. Hemp can be used every day (stop laughing now!).

if you can afford it, Lush on 15th and Walnut makes the best handmade stuffs you will ever use! but I'm cheap, so I usually just use the 365 brand stuff at Whole Foods as much as possible. Dr. Bronners is good too.

I use natural soaps, too. Tom's and Burt's Bees are favorites. It's why people enjoy smelling me.

It is true George. That is the ultimate fashion statement in the South Bay. There are numerous boutiques cropping up all over Southern California selling those. You have to watch out for fakes though - you see dozens of taco-salad- hat vendors lining the street by the Staples Center.
