What kind of fish do they use for this? What type of batter?
Maybe you should dress the Divine Miss Em up in a tomato suit and have her flagging down people to buy your salsa.

Looks sort of like a seafood
Looks sort of like a seafood shanty you would find in New England, which is a good thing...
I'm gonna go there and take
I'm gonna go there and take the kids for some fish and chips. Not just cause it sounds yummy, but primarily because they have a kidsdressed up in a lobster suit flagging down cars. I think that is so cool.

I love that this take-out
I love that this take-out place is neighborhood owned and operated. The crab cakes are to die for and the scallops are my personal favorite. As for the decor!?, it's adorable, must I remind ye hipster this is a corner take-out place in Fishtown. The Fishtown that I know and love, where we SUPPORT our community and neighbors! If it's GREAT seafood at reasonable prices your looking for this is your spot.
We had the crab cake platter
We had the crab cake platter tonight;everyone enjoyed the crab cakes and french fries. The ff were cooked to perfection, crab cakes were delicious, cole slaw was so,so, but when it comes to coleslaw/salads I prefer home made.

I haven't been there yet but
I haven't been there yet but Delaware Bay seafood sounds good to me. When I want simple fried takeout seafood, I'm not looking for ambience. I just want tasty, hearty, fried fish, french fries, a little malt vinegar, some slaw on the side... crack open a cold one to wash it all down. Someone mentioned 'Little Daves' in port richmond. If it's anything like that, it should do well.
I usually order from here
I usually order from here once a week. The crabcakes are my favorite! They do have a little spice to them, but thats how I like it. I asked the owner what was spicy in them and she said cayan pepper so maybe someone was a little heavy with that one week. But the reason the people behind the counter may have looked 15 is because they are young. The owners are a young couple that look like they may be in thier early 20's. Nice kids. Also, Joe Tayoun runs the cooking there so the food is bound to be good. They also had a New England calm chowder today that was amazing!!
I had the crab cakes today
I had the crab cakes today and didn't find them overly spicy. In fact, I don't really remember them being all that spicy. Enough spice to be good, but definitely not too much.
