Please join us for this exciting production at the Walking Fish Theatre!
The Good Puppet of Szechwan tells the story of Shen Teh, a prostitute visited by 3 gods who give her a bag of money because they consider her the last remaining good person in the country. But she asks herself, "How can I be good when everything's so expensive?"
Don't we all ask that question?
Based on an ancient Chinese fable and updated into the Bertolt Brecht classic, this production was adapted to include 25 handmade puppets, masks and original live music. It's a satirical drama full of music, movement and puppets. Suitable for adults and young people over the age of 10.
Tickets are $16/$12 for students/seniors. Pay what you can every Wednesday.
