Once again my little guy had to write a poem for language arts, he fights it all the way but when he is done I am always amazed and proud of what he comes up with,,
This is his "I'm From" Poem
Not bad for 5th grade!
I'm From
I'm from Philly
I'm from Fishtown
I'm from the Liberty Bell and Soft Pretzels
I'm from a sports town with South Philly Stadiums
I'm from a World Series winning Phillies!
I'm from big family arguments and celebrations
I'm from block parties, BBQ's and hot summer days swimming.
I'm from scootering with my friends going, "Ha, Ha," until the street lights come on.
I'm from church on Sunday
listening, laughing, talking and praying.
I'm from being a big brother
I'm from loving my parents
I'm from Love
I'm from God
