Kensington's own Delco Nightingale needs your help...
Hiya everyone, this is Erin from Delco Nightingale. I'm here to respectfully request your help...we've been nominated for band of the month on the Deli Magazine (Philly) website. I'm very excited about this, not only for ourselves, but for the fact that we've gotten nominated in a city that doesn't pay much attention to any music in the rockabilly, psychobilly or swing genres. With your help, if we win this we could get this music out to a whole new audience...
So, it really just a minute out of your day to do this, and here's how:

2) Under the "Band of the Month Poll" section, click on vote
3) Vote for Delco Nightingale!

No, we didn't. BUT, we came in third, and that made us very happy. I know we have a long road ahead of us, making the top 40 of the 40s the top 40 of today. But thanks to all of you for voting, and for saying all the nice things you said about us.
By the way, Katherine Silkaitis from Philadelphia Weekly came out to our house a few nights ago to interview us for her Ummm Drop column as a preview for our upcoming show at Tritone on Dec. 12th. So next week Wednesday, pick up a copy and our mugs will be in there! And of course, if you aren't doing anything on Saturday, come to the Tritone and see what you voted for...

Hiya, Jeff! We've just been selling our EP at shows and here and there...I can bring one (or two, or three) into the bar and keep them there til I see you next. We haven't set up selling them online, so it's either through me at Lost Bar or at a show...like for instance, our next show at the Tritone on 12/12 would be the perfect opportunity...
