Paint like Picasso

Class starts February 22nd
Teen & Adult 4 week class Mondays 6:00 – 7:30 Cost $80

This class will explore the history of Picasso and his works of art. You will study Picasso and come up with your own original artistic works using different elements of his artistic style.
Pablo Picasso was and remains one of the most influential and original artists of the 20th century, and in art history in general. You will learn techniques, styles and vision found in Picasso’s masterpieces. This will be done through different methods such as working from pictures of Picasso’s works, and also using diverse still life objects/shapes and other visual tools.
Throughout this class, as well as learning about the history and style of Picasso’s art, you will learn and review basic notions of composition and color that you will apply to creating their own works based on and inspired by different pictures by Pablo Picasso.
