My boyfriend and I love Hinge in Port Richmond on Sommerset near Taconelli's. Great food. The breakfast skillet is one of our favs. We've been going there almost every Sunday for breakfast, so it has been hard to branch out and try the new places popping. They do breakfast, lunch and dinner. And have live music too. The place is totally unexpected for the neighborhood.
I can't wait to check out some of the other local fair recommended on here.

Just wanted to give a little
Just wanted to give a little plug for my girlfriend's photo exhibit that will be at the Hinge for the entire month of October:
"Embracing Strength" by Melissa Hassey
A mother's breast cancer survival leads to the discovery of hope as told through the photographic eyes of her daughter.
Also, the owners / staff of The Hinge are very cool people (and very hysterical!). I can't wait to stop by again soon.

Yum - I tried the breakfast
Yum - I tried the breakfast bruschetta recently and it was delicious! The portions are really generous too, which makes it difficult to leave room for their yummy desserts. Last time I had the french toast with peaches and marscarpone cheese which was incredible.
Sounds great...I'm going to
Sounds great...I'm going to check this place out for sure during my October/November visits.

Stopped at Hinge for brunch
Stopped at Hinge for brunch on Saturday. Had the breakfast bruschetta. Toasted french baguettes, goat cheese spread, topped with scrambled eggs and traditional tomato bruschetta topping. It was divine. Oh my! Enough for two people.
