The Walking Fish Theater joins forces with sponsor The Philadelphia Brewing Company to present Philadelphia’s newest performing troupe, Sunday Night Revival right in the heart of Fishtown/Kensington. Every third Sunday of the month starting November 18, 2007. Tickets are $10.

Sunday Revival Burlesque is part of the first season of bold programming at the Walking Fish Theater, though the troupe itself is comprised of experienced professionals. The show will feature local artists Ann Atomic, Miss Heather Henderson, and Father Andrew. Ann Atomic has been performing burlesque for nearly ten years with the Coconut Grove and Peek-A-Boo groups. Heather Henderson was co-host of Dance Party USA and she currently sings with retro 60’s soul band SOULAMITE! Father Andrew has a long list of film directing credits which include The Scream (1994), A Chronicle of Corpses (2001) and Georges Bastille’s Story of the Eye as well as his DJ and performance installation artworks.

“Burlesque is vaudeville’s dangerously sexy little sister,” says Ann Atomic, Sunday Revival founder. “We are proud to be part of a growing burlesque community dedicated to preserving this glittering, tassel-twirling, fringe-shaking, vintage-loving performance art form.”

Sunday Revival will premiere on Sunday, November 18th 2007 at 8pm at the Walking Fish Theatre, thanks in part to sponsor The Philadelphia Brewing Company. Tickets are $10 and they are available for advance purchase either online at www.walkingfishtheatre.com or by calling 215-427-WALK.
