It's interesting watching the evolution of their targets of hate go from black people to "hipsters," both of which are seen as diseases in the urban body.

I'm reading more and more
I'm reading more and more about the problem between dog's in Hetzell's or Shissler, etc.I also grew up in fishtown,I also have a dog ( whom I love dearly)and I also have a grandson who plays ball in Hetzell's and Shissler ,yes the only two fields these kids have to play in and now they need to share it with dogs? And yes it is a health issue. When my grandson (or any other kid on the team)slides into base they don't need to worry about anything more than dirt on them. " Soil" that is not "dog dirt"! And as far as being referred to as old fishtowners, there are many of us, and although we like some of the changes made by you new breed,so to speak,THIS is NOT one of the changes we like.A dog is a pet and a kid is a child. You talk about being taxpayers, well guess what WE also are taxpayers! what about our rights, better yet how about the rights of the kids.Maybe you should try and buy one of the vacant lots from the city and fence it in for a dog park.Or maybe all of you taxpaying dog owners could get together and start a dog park fund to raise money to make your own dog park instead of taking part of our kids fields away from them !As far as Rose saying in the star,"Helping dog owners to find the correct places to take their dogs to do their business would solve the whole issue "! Really, Why can't your dog do his "Bussiness" in his own back yard !.... Miegs ,Fishtown PuP

This list has appeared
This list has appeared various places in various forms. I first saw it in NKCDC's office right after I moved here, and a version of it was published in the Star several years ago.
I picked up this copy off Google's copy of a page that no longer exists from a CDC somewhere in the city.
