[Update: FOUND!] Lost bengal cat - E. Dauphin and Memphis

Forums:

[Update - this kitty is back home safe and sound, thanks to neighbors keeping an eye out and contacting the owner! you folks are the best!]

All:

A neighbor's cat escaped at the corner of E. Dauphin and Memphis on 9/13/2014. Dr. Awesome is a Bengal, beige-brown arrow rosettes with ticking, i.e. he looks like a bobcat. He's a neutered male, about seven years old, microchipped, no collar.

He's very talkative and friendly, if not a huge fan of being picked up. If you see him, please contact me.

Good luck Jordan. Odds are he's in the immediate area. They tend no to stray too far. If neighbors allow, search through alleys and yards

That is a gorgeous cat. I hope he makes his way back home. :(

Check Conrad square since it's nearby. They always gravitate towards those type of places.

Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!

Dr. Awesome looks like a bad kitten. Sharing on twitter, hope he is found soon.

There was a super friendly orange-ish cat hanging out on Oxford last night, when I opened the door he/she looked like he really wanted to run in.. but that's a decent distance from Dauphin & Memphis, so I'm not sure. Still, probably worth a note. Hope they find Dr. Awesome!

Two different people on twitter saying they have seen the cat near Whipped and at Gaul/Wilt.

I'd tell the owners to head south.

This cat has a higher Klout score* than I do.

(*For the record, I don't have a Klout score)

Put some of your worn clothes and some used litter on the stoop or in a cardboard box in the stoop, so he can smell that and know where home is- cats work by scent. Replace daily or so. Put some of his food/water out too.
If you have a baby monitor put that so you can hear kitty late at night if it meows for you. He might not recognize you immediately if he sees you, and probably avoids people, it's just what happens when they get scared. Hope that helps kitty get home soon. I have a trap if you need one.

I should check my yard...it's turned into a wildlife refuge.

Hey everyone, some great news...

Dr. Awesome has been found. He is back home, and eating wet food like crazy. The owner is very grateful for everyone's help.

This was an awe inspiring moment of neighbors coming together for each other. And you folks came up huge.
