Revised Proposal for building a mixed use structure with commercial on the ground floor 24 dwelling units above, 55' tall, and with 5 offstreet parking spaces.

This meeting will take place at the Fishtown Rec Center, 1202 E Montgomery Ave. All residents and business owners in Fishtown are eligible to vote. Please bring proof of residence or business ownership in the form of a driver’s license or a photo id and a lease, utility bill, or recent piece of mail addressed to your home or business.

1250 E Palmer - Local Vote 1 yes, 14 no / community vote 25 yes, 33 no / Total 26-47 opposed to the variances. The developer has asked for a continuance for the ZBA hearing next week and will come back to the community with a (2) unit scheme. That meeting will likely be in September keep an eye on here or the Fishtown.org calendar for that meeting.

1502 Frankford - Local Vote 20 yes, 4 no / community vote 42 yes, 13 no / Total 62-17 supporting the variances.
This revised plan from the previous proposal was approved by the ZBA yesterday at the hearing.

Thanks for details! I saw 1502 was approved yesterday at ZBA.

What made people come around on 1502 Frankford? 4 less units and 5ft of height? Very surprising, I doubt anyone would be able to tell the difference.

Did the new proposal include the quality retail space, or did they have to dumb it down a bit?
